These preferences are consistent with global trends, as staff was the highest rated category for 2021 Traveller Review Awards winners, followed by cleanliness and location. Guests are placing increasing importance on health and hygiene, and it shows, as the average cleanliness score for winners was 17% higher than for non-winners, suggesting that this factor can be a determining factor in ensuring a perfect stay.
